Valencia Gulliver Childrens Playground
Near the City of Arts & Sciences there is a gigantic statue of Gulliver from the 1726 book Gullivers travels in Lilliput. The giant Gulliver is lying on the floor as if he has been tied down by the Lilliputians.

His sword and hat is also on the floor. The whole statue is a child's playground covers in slides. If you look at this location on Google maps satellite images you will see how immense this statue is. What a great idea.
If you are visiting the city with children they will love it. Bring a picnic. There is a toilet block behind the ticket booth. The Jardines del Turia are a relaxing place for a walk if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
The park is very beautiful in broad day light but not a place to walk around at night especially under the bridges which are the night-time hangouts of the homeless.
