This impressive concert hall in the old dried up river bed of the river Turin of Valencia is now surrounded by palm trees. In front is a rectangular pond which is full of choreographed water jets that make entertaining fountain shows.

They do have day time concerts but an evening music performance is not to be missed. If you can have a look around the inside of the building and admire its metal and glass domed roof. There are a number of tables and chairs situated around the artificial lake.

Buy a drink or better still an ice cream and rest your weary feet while watching the fountains. Try and find a table in the shade of one of the trees so you do not get sunburnt. It is hard to believe that this whole area used to be under water. The Valencia Local council should be congratulated on the excellent civic building design concept and execution that has enhanced the city of Valencia for the enjoyment of Tourist and the locals.
