The Museo de las Ciencias Principe Felipe is the hands on science museum aimed at educating school children. It is one of the largest interactive museum in Europe. Most explanations are translated into English. It is the long rectangular gaudiesque spiky building.

It looks like something from a Star Trek movie. It has been built as part of the Valencia City of Arts & Sciences. When the local government of Valencia decided to relocate the river that caused so many floods to the city they were left with an empty river bed. They looked at other great cities around the world and took note of their great iconic architecture. They wanted the buildings of the Arts and Science complex to stand out and be remarkable.
